Notes – Key frames

Key frames – used for changing values.

Helps to manage the look of the film, to get the effects we need (sound and audio)

We might change the opacity, if we have an image at 100% strength its opaic, 50% is in between, 0% is translucent. We use this to be able to fade clips in to each other, this allows us to choose pin points in fading.

Audio is used in the same way to link music and sound effects.

We can change the value of a frame from 100% size to crop out things we don’t want. However the resolution goes down. Goes from 1080 pixels to 540, degrading the image (Doubling the original percentage)

Most useful for cross fades and volume fades.
