Location, location, location.

A few shots from today where we went out to pick where the shots would be taken from.

The river cafe Joey will be buying his food from in the third scene. We have a bench located near this shot so its a smooth transition if you happen to see it in the background.

These two river shots are what were planning t0 use in the second scene where we pan down the river. The pan is going to be difficult to get in fluidly so we need to practice this before we do our final shoot so we can see if it works.

This was one of the benches we considered using, however it is on an awkward angle to get Joey and I walking to it. We do like the location of it as there are no cars in the main body of the shot as you will see in the next one is a problem.

This is the ideal place for the bench to be as it is on a straight path, so the shots on Joey and I wont have to be cut. This makes the whole thing smoother to film. However the cars in the background are a distraction to whats going on in front of it.

If it rains we are going to do the film in the canteen, we don’t want to do this because of the setting outside makes it feel more like a normal day.

Glad to see you out and about researching locations, Kayla—your group are showing some good practical skills here. I don’t like the cars, but that’s not the end of the world. Bigger question is this: what will you do if it rains?
